OUR FOUNDER, OUR STORY
Nixon Benefits was founded by Karen Nixon in 2001. Before starting Nixon Benefits, Karen held senior management positions at two major health insurance companies. From this vantage, Karen gained vast knowledge of health insurance fundamentals: underwriting, plan design, and risk management. It also provided the insight that what is best for brokers is not always best for employers. She saw the opportunity to improve broker services to the advantage of clients. The result is Nixon Benefits, a unique service organization that was founded on a passion to deliver accurate and transparent pricing to clients. After more than a decade, our organization is thriving because we continue to focus on our client’s bottom line above our own, providing service with a passion.
